SEGOVIA

Segovia is one of the most interesting World Heritage Cities in Spain. Its aqueduct, with more than 2000 years of history, is the best example of the impressive Roman engineering, built with stone ashlars without any mortar among them.

The cathedral, in Gothic style, stands out for its beauty and luminosity. And there are no less numerous Segovian Romanesque churches, such as San Martin, San Millán or San Esteban.

The fortress rises on a huge rock and dominates the city. It is worth to be contemplated carefully and climb to its tower, 90 meters high, to get one of the best views of the city. Segovia is full of squares and alleys to get lost, as well as numerous restaurants where you can taste the famous roasted lamb.
